| May On May 22nd, Pepper was seen among a group of 35-40 humpback whales in the Great South Channel, an offshore feeding area southeast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. |
| August Sighted on August 2nd in Great South Channel, southeast of Cape Cod, by researchers from the Center for Coastal Studies. Pepper was sighted on August 13th by PMMRC/IWC biologists, Sue Rocca and Karen Vale. Pepper was keeping a low profile, but seemed well. Sighted on August 19th and 20th in the Great South Channel, southeast of Cape Cod. Sighted in late August amidst a group of 70 humpback whales in the Great South Channel, southeast of Cape Cod. |
