July 14, 2004 Sanctuary folks who were on a research cruise in the Great South Channel (southeast of Cape Cod) last week spotted 50-60 humpbacks there including Pepper (she was actually tagged during the cruise!)! July 24, 2004 Most of "our" whales are in the Great South Channel where Pepper, Mars and calf, Salt, Fringe, Crystal and forty or so other humpbacks were hanging out last week! August 4, 2004 Things are finally looking up this summer. We had a sudden influx of humpback whales during the past couple of days. Fringe made her way along the northern edge of Stellwagen Bank, while yesterday, Pepper was hanging out on the southern end of the Bank. August 21, 2004 Pepper's 2000 calf, Habenero has been seen on Stellwagen Bank in August.
